You absolutely can. If you want to stay for less than a month, please let us know. While we can not offer a shorter reservation due to Hawaii County Law, we can offer you a better price based on your intended departure. If you choose to stay longer than the intended date on your rental agreement (but within your contract 30 days), we will just charge you for the remainder of the month - this will all be spelled out I yr rental agreement.
Yes, the caretaker of the home can do weekly cleaning ( wash & change bed linens, sweep, etc). Please let us know if you're interested in regular cleaning service during your stay.

There will be some essentials waiting for you on arrival — toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags. When you land you can go straight to Hale Akaʻula, or stop by the market for food and be fine until you work out what you want. Many guests stop at Costco on the way, and the house caretaker can tell you what is already there (seasonings and the like). If you have specific questions, just ask.
Yes. There are beach chairs, umbrellas / tents, camp chairs, table, sand toys, and some outdoor gear (daypack) for hikes and other outdoor activities.
